The highlight of Sean and Susan’s recent visit to New Zealand was the gracious hospitality of Lindsay and Fraser McLachlan, father and son, owners of Peregrine Wines.
They are now delighted to be hosting Fraser on his first trip to Anna Maria Island next week.
We’ll be celebrating Peregrine wines all weekend, October 16th-18th, with menu options paired with their wines. On Sunday evening, Fraser will be at the Bistro to chat and fill you in on all things Peregrine and New Zealand.
Peregrine Winery is in the Central Otago region of New Zealand’s South Island, with a backdrop of mountains so magnificent that the Lord of the Rings filming was based there. The winery itself is equally striking, with the roof taking its design from the wingspan of a gliding peregrine falcon. The McLachlans assist the endangered birds by providing a falcon hatchery at the winery.
We’re looking forward to spending time with Fraser and invite you to join us.
