It’s Been a Busy May!

Welcome to the Beach Bistro Bulletin - our new monthly newsletter to catch you up on all of the recent happenings here at the restaurant…

2023 has been a busy one, with some new faces, new menu concepts/designs, and lots of wonderful guests - both new and returning. The one thing that has not changed (and never will) is our dedication to preparing the freshest, most delicious taste experience and providing top notch service to all of our wonderful customers. The Beach Bistro was founded 38 years ago on these principles, and we will hold true to that promise forever. We want you to join us for an unforgettable dining experience and leave feeling like you are part of the Bistro family.

Introducing Our Chef’s Bite

With our Executive Chef Seth Groseclose leading his amazing team of chefs, we proudly announced the launch of our new Chef’s Bite to compliment your dining experience. This is just a one or two bite taste of something amazing and creative and fresh. It’s the perfect addition to our Five Course Tasting Menu to savor just a bite of something deliciously special.

Mother’s Day Weekend

Our Mother’s Day Weekend was truly memorable, with all of our lovely guests and the moms in their life being treated to not only our One of a Kind taste experience here at the Beach Bistro, but also glasses of bubbly to add to the celebration. We were also so proud to offer individual table bouquets from our amazing local partner florist, Nectar Custom Floral Designs. It was truly a gorgeous and delectable weekend for all.

DAVE’S JUNE VARIETAL

ARCHERY SUMMIT CHARDONNAY - Dundee Hills AVA - 2021

Archery Summit Pinot Noirs from Oregon are now world renowned, but did you know that they make a few exceptional Chardonnays? One in particular is their Dundee Hills Cuvée.

This Chardonnay, made from three different vineyard sites in the Dundee Hills of Willamette Valley, is a refreshing treat of citrus zest, fresh lime and light tropical notes. There is the use of oak, but it is restrained, and the wine remains clean and fresh for the warm days ahead. A wine of this caliber pairs well with our Chef’s Classic Bistro Bouillabaisse, or our incredible Pan Seared Scallop Succotash (pictured). Please inquire about a bottle while you are visiting this month, or take a moment to peruse our full wine list.

Cheers, David Klingler

Turtle Season - Our Favorite Time of Year!

Turtle season on Anna Maria Island officially began on May 1st, 2023. During this period, visitors and residents are encouraged to observe and support the conservation efforts for turtles that nest and hatch along the island's beaches. Strict measures, including darkened beachfronts and beach nest monitoring, are in place to ensure the protection and safety of these turtles throughout the nesting season, which will continue until October. Not only are we happy to change our normal outdoor lighting to turtle friendly, red lighting - but we love how it adds to our beautiful beach lighting ambience.

Look out for turtle nests and be sure to fill in holes on the beach!

Featured Google Review of the Month…

“My mom and I were in town for a girls week and went to Beach Bistro for a sunset dinner on the beach for our last night on the island as our grand finale. The food & service were 110% on point and we had an unforgettable evening. We would absolutely recommend it and will be back! Bonus – We were able to make reservations in advance AND they had valet parking!!!”  - Natalie S.

We thank you for being such an important part of the Beach Bistro and we sincerely hope to see you soon!
